“A homeless man?” Matthew scrunched his brows.
“Yes,” Fernando confirmed. “We’re on it but it’s like finding a needle in a haystack. Homeless folks are everywhere around here and they move around a lot. It’s tough to pin them down. We have hit a dead end with this lead for now.”
Matthew felt disheartened. He clenched his jaw and said, “We need to find the culprit, no matter the cost.”
“Got it!” Fernando replied.
